Overview: One person hosts and calls random numbers, while everyone else deals themselves a private ticket right on their own phone and marks it off live as numbers are called.

Objective
Be the first to complete a prize pattern on your ticket: Early Five, a Line, or Full House.
Players
2 or more — one Host, the rest Players, each with their own phone.
Setup
One player opens the app and chooses "Host." Everyone else opens the app on their own phone and chooses "Player" to deal themselves a ticket.

How Tambola / Housie Works

  1. The Host's phone calls random numbers from 1–90, one at a time, out loud or on screen. No number repeats.
  2. Each Player deals themselves a private ticket right on their own phone: 3 rows × 9 columns, 15 numbers total, 5 per row.
  3. When the Host calls a number that's on your ticket, tap it on your own screen to mark it.
  4. Your phone automatically notices when you complete Early Five (first 5 marked), a Line (a full row), or Full House (the whole ticket) — shout it out when it does.
  5. The Host can optionally tap "Claim" next to a prize and type in who shouted it, just to keep score.
Winning
Keep calling until Full House is claimed, or all 90 numbers are out. Multiple prizes (Early Five, Top/Middle/Bottom Line, Full House) can each be won once per round.

Tips

  • Make sure every player actually has their own phone before starting — Tambola here doesn't use a shared pass-and-play device.
  • Start a new round with the same players anytime for a fresh set of tickets and a reset board.
