Overview: No rounds, no voting — everyone gets a private social task to complete sometime during the party, and quietly checks in on their own progress whenever they want.
- Objective
- Complete your mission without getting noticed doing it.
- Players
- 3 or more.
- Setup
- Add players and choose which built-in missions to include, or write your own — some target a specific other player, others can be completed with anyone.
How Secret Missions Works
- Everyone privately learns their mission during the reveal phase.
- Missions run in the background for as long as the party lasts — there are no turns.
- Check in privately anytime (same pass-and-hide pattern as the reveal) to mark your mission Completed or Caught.
- Whenever the group is ready, end the game to reveal every mission and status at once.
- Winning
- Scoring only: Completed = +2 points, Caught = −1 point, never attempted = 0.
Tips
- Run this alongside another game — it doesn't need everyone's full attention.
- Mix open and targeted missions so no single type of mission gives away who has one.
